We are currently hiring for an experienced Machine Operator at our location in Pittsfield, NH for 1st shift.  If you have experience working on and with production machines in a manufacturing environment, enjoy a fast-paced environment and want to put your savvy mechanical and machine operation skills to work, this may be the perfect job for you!

Starting wage for experienced operator’s $15.00-20.00 per hour, including on-time pay.

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Responsible for the efficient operation and set-up of various machines
• Trouble-shoot, operate and problem solve day to day situations as they arise
• Ensure that machines are set correctly to run in accordance with written procedures
• Diagnose and identify mechanical issues, correct line speeds as necessary to ensure optimal output
• Perform change overs in an efficient and timely manner
• Change rolls of film
• Ensure required materials are available
• Follow GMP’s
• Maintain a clean and safe work space and environment
• Follow established safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must have experience operating machines operating line equipment. Ideal candidate would have experience with automated packaging equipment in a production environment, food industry a plus. Operating CNC, press machine or other types is acceptable.
• Team-oriented and Positive
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to read and write English
• Excellent ability to problem solve mechanical problems daily

Work Environment:

• Working around moving equipment, production line, and machinery
• Noisy environment
• Temperature variations, high heat near ovens and cold in cooler or freezer

Physical Demands:

• Walking, Standing for long periods of time on a shift
• Bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, pushing , pulling, climbing
• Lifting weight between 1-50 lbs, 50-100 lbs., with 2-person assist

$150.00 signing bonus available after completing 30 days of work and opportunity for daily and weekly bonuses available for Attendance and Productivity.
