Ever Better Eating, Inc. is a New Hampshire facility famous for their organic hand formed pizza crusts and home-made sauces, known as Rustic Crust - American Flatbread.

Position Description
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for monitoring the sanitation process and sanitary design for the facility in compliance with company policy related to GMP’s and Safety.

Responsibilities
·  Organize, lead and supervise Sanitation employees; solving problems before they develop.
·  Provide assistance, coaching and guidance to line employees; fostering an environment that allows them to accomplish daily tasks and achieve goals.
·  Communicate and follow-up effectively.
·  Delegate responsibilities as needed.
·  Capable of performing all sanitation department tasks and job duties.
    Assure a safe work environment.
    Manage the Master Sanitation Schedule and schedule the sanitation team accordingly
    Verify the MSS, assist SQF Practitioner in reviewing Sanitation Performance trends using ATP test results
·  Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment.
·  Observe and evaluate processes and personnel.
·  Motivate and lead by example.
·  Process daily employee issues and complaints; listen well and provide tactful feedback.
·  Facilitate and assist with special projects, customer requests, samples, etc.
·  Work closely with the quality control department, assisting with information gathering and follow-up.
·  Assist with selection, hiring, advancement, transfer, promotion and termination decisions for the department.
·  Administer employee discipline as needed.
·  Work with regulatory Agencies as needed. Monitor nightly sanitation of the facility. Facilitate Sanitation, Maintenance, Operations communications regarding sanitation needs for the facility.
    Implement, revise and track master sanitation schedule. Develop sanitation procedures for new equipment as needed Coordinate production startups, shutdowns, changeovers and sanitation to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.

·  All employees are expected to produce and promote our products and services in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.

Education
Associate’s degree or Technical education or commensurate experience.
·  4 years of supervisory experience or more.
·  In depth understanding of manufacturing processes and related equipment.
·  Ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience.
·  Ability to provide leadership, support, communication and direction to line personnel.
·  Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problem solve beyond routine issues.
·  Ability to coach, lead and develop employees.
·  Ability to make sound/independent decisions relating to order/production issues.
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Working Conditions
·  Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment
·  Hair nets, rubber gloves, aprons face shields, and/or safety glasses to be worn.
·  Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.
·  Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull/push as required
