Job Summary:

Seeking a Mixer at our facility to make our great variety of pizza doughs.  Work in different areas of the plant to assist in the production of crusts and pizzas. You will produce dough recipes in accordance to the batch sheet for the product and produce recipes in quantity in accordance with the Production Schedule.

Food Safety:

Follow all company GMP’s

Adhere to Allergen Control Policy

Accurately recording part lot codes

Essential Functions:

Verify following correct recipe and ensure needed items are available prior to starting

Understand mixing ingredients and a variety of recipes

Able to measure accurately and make batches of dough on a daily basis

Inspect work area and equipment for cleanliness and maintain clean and sanitary work environment

Maintain Quality Standards by following all instructions and procedures for recipe

Contribute to team effort by assisting or performing other duties or tasks as needed

Knowledge Requirements:

Demonstrated ability to operate following equipment;

Dough mixer, spice mixer, water meter, scale, divider, rounder, proofer, transfer conveyor, press, wood oven, gas oven

Demonstrated ability to use scale to weigh ingredients per recipe

Ability to follow directions, attention to detail, enjoys working in a fast paced, team environment

Work Environment:

Temperature variations, high heat near ovens and cold in cooler or freezer

Walking and working around moving equipment

Production floors can be slippery

Multi-cultural work environment

Physical Demand:

Walking, bending, squatting, reaching, push/pull carts, or other equipment, lifting weight up to 75-100 pounds with two person assist
