tremendous pride in the quality of our products. Our workforce is vitally important to us. We are currently seeking a knowledgeable, motivated, dedicated hands-on Recruiter to join our team in Pittsfield, NH.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently and have an ability to determine a candidate's potential through clever questions. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas. This is NOT a remote position and the candidate must be able to work on site.

The primary focus of this position is for production level workers, machine operators and working with our outsourced employment agencies. A smaller portion of the job will be around finding, Leads, Supervisor support, and QC positions as the company continues to grow.

Summary:

In this role you will have the chance to meet new people, recruit for multiple positions, with an emphasis on hourly production/manufacturing associates. We are continuing to grow and are looking for someone who is creative, outgoing, flexible, and enjoys a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions/Duties:

• Responsible for day to day recruiting efforts and sourcing candidates
• Point of contact with potential candidates, initiate phone screen, conduct interviews via phone or in-person
• Qualify or reject candidates based on interview feedback and resume reviews
• Maintain and develop pipeline of eligible candidates for future open positions
• Meet weekly quotas related to calls and emails
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, conduct tours, provide next steps follow-up
• Utilize a variety of resources, traditional and non-traditional methods to post open positions to job boards, attend job fairs, etc.
• Update, utilize, and manage activity in applicant tracking system
• Build rapport with hiring supervisors and managers to fill open positions and connect with the team
• Develop and maintain relationships with third party staffing agencies
• Participates in the on-boarding process
• This position requires local travel on a regular basis to recruit for candidates
• Must have reliable transportation

Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Great writing skills and ability to articulate clearly
• Outstanding organizational and planning skills
• Familiarity with a variety of recruiting tools, methods, applicant tracking system
• Knowledge of and savvy ability to use social-media
• Gain understanding of duties, skills, and job requirements to successfully find talent to fill positions
• Attention to detail a must

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years hands-on recruiting experience in production/manufacturing, food industry a plus
• Team-oriented, works collaboratively with all
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Experience utilizing applicant tracking system including updating and managing activity consistently
• Proficient computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office and variety of web based systems
• Great time management skills
• Must be flexible and adaptable
• Work hours/schedule could vary somewhat to meet business needs. Primarily 8-5 weekdays.

Work Environment:

• Can be noisy
• May walk around moving equipment and machinery while giving tours
• Some travel between 2 locations – ½ mile apart
• Ability to work with interruptions and complete tasks timely

Physical Demands:

Sitting for long periods of time, walking, standing, bending, reaching, and telephone use, daily use of pc computer, speaking, hearing, and seeing.
